Who we are
NicramLabs Corp is a consulting and software business based in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit nicramlabs.com or contact us about our services.
Marcin Polanski is your contact for privacy questions and requests. Email hello@nicramlabs.com and mention privacy in your message.
Information we handle inside a client's systems during a paid project may also be covered by that client's instructions, privacy policy and our service agreement.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. Our enquiry forms ask for your name, email address and a description of what you need. You may also provide your business name and, on some forms, your phone number, project details or timing. We receive the content of emails and other communications you choose to send.
- Basic technical information. Our hosting and email providers may process IP addresses, browser or device details, requested pages, timestamps and delivery or error information to run and protect their services.
Please send only what we need to understand your enquiry. Do not include passwords, payment card details or sensitive information about yourself, employees or customers in a website form.
How we use it
We use information to:
- Reply to your enquiry, understand your needs and discuss a possible project or quote.
- Manage our communications and any resulting business relationship.
- Keep the website and communications working, prevent spam and investigate technical problems.
- Keep necessary business records and meet legal obligations.
When you contact us, we use the details you provide to handle that request. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up for a newsletter or unrelated marketing. If we want to use your information for a new purpose, we will explain it and obtain consent where required.
Providers and sharing
Our website is hosted on Vercel. Contact-form messages are sent to our business email through an email service provider. These providers process information needed to host the site, deliver and store messages, maintain security and provide their services.
Information may be processed in Canada or other countries where our providers operate. It may be subject to the laws of those countries, including lawful access by public authorities. See Vercel's privacy notice for information about its practices.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with service providers helping us carry out the purposes above, with your permission, or when required or permitted by law, such as responding to a valid legal request.
Cookies, analytics and AI
We do not currently use advertising pixels or third-party audience analytics on this website. Hosting providers may use security-related technologies and technical logs to deliver and protect the site. We will update this policy if our use of tracking changes and request consent where required.
The contact form does not automatically send your message to an AI service. We use AI-assisted tools in some development work; any use of client information in a project needs to follow the agreed data-handling arrangements.
If you follow a link to another website or a social platform, that service has its own privacy and cookie practices.
Keeping information safe
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including ongoing conversations, service commitments, business records and legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the information and our relationship with you. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details, subject to necessary backup retention.
We use reasonable safeguards suited to the information, including encrypted website connections and restricting access to people and providers who need it for their work. No website, email service or storage system can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and requests
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or a correction, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent to a use based on consent. Email hello@nicramlabs.com with your request.
We may need to verify your identity before sharing or changing information. Some information may need to be retained, and some requests may be limited by applicable law. We will explain any relevant limits and how withdrawing consent could affect our ability to respond or provide services.
You can raise a privacy concern with Marcin using the same email address. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the privacy regulator responsible for your concern.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as our website, services or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. If a change requires new notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
